NY Governor Cuomo: I Won’t “Tolerate A Party That Caters” To The “Extreme” Far-Right

Thwarted in his attempt to pass a law decriminalizing marijuana, New York’s governor blames the right.

Frustrated by GOP resistance to his proposal to decriminalize public possession of under 25 grams of marijuana, Cuomo warned that New Yorkers won’t “tolerate a party that caters to the extreme ultra-conservative side.”

“The Conservative Party made their voice heard,” Cuomo said on Albany’s Talk 1300 AM radio. “The state Senate heard the conservative wing of the party, and they’re reacting to it.”
