Romney Campaign Responds To Dirty Super PAC Attack On Obama By Attacking Obama

In response to a potential Super PAC campaign to toss mud at President Obama by trying once again to tie him to Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the Romney campaign tossed more mud rather than to starkly renounce such tactics.

Romney campaign manager Matt Rhoades said “Unlike the Obama campaign, Gov. Romney is running a campaign based on jobs and the economy, and we encourage everyone else to do the same.”

“It’s clear President Obama’s team is running a campaign of character assassination. We repudiate any efforts on our side to do so,'” Rhoades added.

So, Romney accuses the Obama camp of the very thing its own supporters are doing, and then says it’s wrong to do such a thing.
