Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed a bill ending all state funding for Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood says the bill will only serve to reduce Arizonans’ access to affordable preventative health care services. “We are most concerned about the women and men who could be forced to go without health care as a result of this bill,” Bryan Howard, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Arizona, said in a statement. “We remain committed to providing Arizona communities with the professional, nonjudgmental and confidential health care they have relied on for 78 years.”

But Arizona could face legal challenges here, as

Kansas, North Carolina, and Texas already have similar legislation, and Indiana, New Jersey, and Wisconsin blocked funding for abortion providers in their state budgets.

But Indiana, Kansas, and North Carolina are facing legal challenges over those measures, Reuters reported. A federal appeals court ruled Friday that Texas cannot ban Planned Parenthood from receiving state funds.
