“A Time To Celebrate Redemption”

President Obama’s Saturday address expressed a message for all Americans regardless of religious belief.

“For millions of Americans, this weekend is a time to celebrate redemption at God’s hand,” Obama said. Although Easter “holds special meaning” for him and other Christians, Obama said, “all of us, no matter how or whether we believe, can identify with elements of [Jesus’s] story. The triumph of hope over despair. Of faith over doubt.”
