Newt Gingrich Compares Failing To Get On The Virginia Ballot To Pearl Harbor

As an historian, surely Newt Gingrich knows that not getting on a state’s ballot is just like the attack on Pearl Harbor by the Japanese.

“Newt and I agreed that the analogy is December 1941,” campaign director Michael Krull said in a message posted to Facebook. “We have experienced an unexpected set-back, but we will re-group and re-focus with increased determination, commitment and positive action.
