Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett signed legislation outlawing texting, reading or sending an email, or browsing the Internet while driving.

The law takes effect 4 months from today, March 8.

Violators will be slapped with a $50 fine.

Corbett says no text message is worth a life. If it’s urgent, pull over.

If it’s not important enough to pull over, it’s not important enough to risk anyone’s life.
