Cain Accuser Disputes His Account, But Decides Not To Go Public

Joel Bennett, one of the attorneys for one of Herman Cain’s accusers, said at a news conference that his client prefers to maintain her anonymity.

Bennett: “Cain knows the specific incidents… if he chooses not to remember or not acknowledge those that’s his issue.”

The National Restaurant Association is willing to release the woman from the confidentiality agreement.

“We have advised Mr. Bennett that we are willing to waive the confidentiality of this matter and permit Mr. Bennett’s client to comment.”
