Does Rick Perry Believe We Can Solve Our Nation’s Problems With Prayer?

Texas Governor and possible presidential candidate Rick Perry wants you to pray and fast, and is holding an event in Houston August 6 to do just that.

“With the economy in trouble, communities in crisis, people adrift in a sea of moral relativism, we need God’s help. That’s why I’m calling on Americans to pray and fast, like Jesus did, and as God called the Israelites to do.” Perry said, asking viewers to “make plans to be part of something even bigger than Texas.”
