Democrats Like Valentine’s Day More Than Republicans

Democrats like Valentine’s Day to the tune of 71%, compared to 61% of Republicans who like the event, according to a Fox News poll.

Is it important to find a Valentine who shares your political views? Most say no, that’s not a priority (65 percent). For about a third of voters it is important to find a partner who has the same ideology (32 percent).

Women (37 percent) are more likely than men (27 percent) to think it’s important to consider political views in matters of love. And Republicans (41 percent) and Democrats (30 percent) are more likely than independents (19 percent) to think so.

Cupid appears to be more blue than red.
