Today, the 13th day after Christmas, House Republicans introduced several bills in efforts to shackle the Environmental Protection Agency. Once again choosing to profit at the earth’s expense. But this time it only took until their second day in power to show their true colors.

Many Republicans, who claim to be good Christians, swear this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles but it says right in the beginning of the Bible, “The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.”

Ben Franklin was on the right track when he said, “How many observe Christ’s birthday! How few his precepts! O! ’tis easier to keep holidays than commandments.”
