Bill Clinton To Meet Obama At White House Friday

Perhaps Bill Clinton has some good advice for Barack Obama. If so, it will be imparted during a Friday White House meeting.

The meeting will be the first between the two men since the midterm elections last month, when voters handed Mr. Obama a political rebuke not unlike the one Mr. Clinton suffered sixteen years earlier.

The visit by Mr. Clinton represents the third time in a week that Mr. Obama has been the recipient of help or advice by one of his predecessors.

Last week, Mr. Obama met at the White House with former President Jimmy Carter, who has recently urged the administration to engage in direct talks with North Korea. Yesterday, the first president Bush issued a statement of support for approval of the New Start treaty with Russia.

The duo had lunch in New York in May (pictured).
