What The Linda McMahon Campaign Doesn’t Want You To Know

As Linda McMahon tries to become the next Republican senator from Connecticut, Phil Mushnick in the New York Post explains the sordid underbelly of the McMahons’ wresting empire. Mushnick refers to the WWE as a “drug-infused death mill.”  For example, he writes, their wrestlers didn’t perform in Oregon because the state requires drug testing.

According to ex-McMahon employees, wannabe wrestlers often were told that they’re “too small,” thus — wink, wink — they should, “Go see the doctor.” See the doctor became a sick, inside gag.

The WWE’s drug policy has changed with the wind. After TV ringside physician, Dr. George Zahorian, was sentenced to prison for supplying drugs to McMahon’s performers — Vince included — the WWF cynically announced a lie: The WWF has no drug problem.

Great physical specimens are dead. The WWE, says Musnick, served as “entry level porn” for kids.

The males in the troupe would stand in the ring, face the TV cameras, shoot their hands toward their groins and holler “Suck it!”

That cry became very popular with kids, to the point where teachers reported that 12-year-old girls were being accosted by 12-year-old boys who pointed to their genitals and hollered “Suck it!”

Linda McMahon is running as the candidate of the family values party, right?
