Christine O’Donnell Ad: “I’m Not A Witch”

When the first thing you have to do in a political campaign is convince the voters you’re not a witch, you’ve got your work cut out for you.  O’Donnell goes on to say, “I’m nothing you’ve heard.  I’m you.” Regardless of whatever may transpire, Ms. O’Donnell will have a very difficult time convincing me she’s me.

It didn’t work for Linda Tripp, who made a similar attempt to ingratiate herself with the public after testifying before Kenneth Starr’s grand jury:

“I understand that there has been a great deal of speculation about just who I am and how I got here. Well, the answer is simple. I’m you. I’m just like you.”
