Campaign Speech Or Pro Wrestling Rant?

Phil Davison, a Minerva councilman, would like to be Stark County, Ohio’s next treasurer.  As Jon Bershad at Mediaite suggests he might make a better pro wrestler.

Davidson rants for a solid six minutes while the audience tries (and fails) to hold back laughter. While his eyes alternate between studying his prepared notes and bugging the hell out his sockets, he promises listeners that “drastic times call for drastic measures.” Whether or not those measures include a hardcore sleeper hold is not yet clear.

Sadly for Davison, and for those of us who like to watch crazy people scream, Davison lost his bid for the nomination to North Canton Finance Director Alex Zumbar.
