Dick Morris On What GOP Should Do: Shut Down The Government

The man who helped engineer President Clinton’s reelection is now cheerleading for another government shutdown, but this time from the other side of the fence.

“There’s going to be a government shutdown, just like in ’95 and ’96 but we’re going to win it this time and I’ll be fightin’ on your side,” Morris said at the Americans for Prosperity Foundation Conference on Friday in Washington.

Indeed, it was fighting GOP obstruction that got Bill Clinton reelected, with Morris’s help.  And now, the GOP base is being revved up for the sole purpose of saying, “no!” Oh, and issuing subpoenas.
