As Seen in the Bookstore…

I skimmed through this book and found nothing which supports racism, anti-Semitism, the oppression of gays, the oppression of the poor or the intentional dismantling of the middle class.

I dug a bit deeper and was unable to pinpoint what Jesus said about voting against the environment, voting against health care or voting against unemployment benefits.

The right to bring guns into coffee shops? Wars for oil? The idolatry of Corporate America? Not in the Gospels either.

But Jesus did say, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.”

And don’t forget the ever so popular, “What shall it profit a man if he gains the world but loses his soul.”

Come Christmas time, this is a perfect little stocking stuffer for dummies like Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, David Vitter and assorted Tea Party people who are only Christian when it’s convenient.
