Militia Leader Calls For Violence

Mike Vanderboegh of Pinson, Alabama, a militia leader, wrote on his blog: “THIS is your time. Break their windows. Break them NOW.”

Vanderboegh is a co-founder of the “Three Percenters,” which took its name from the questionable idea that just three percent of the colonists actually fought for independence. Vanderboegh advocates even more violence against members of Congress than we’ve already seen.

“if we break the windows of hundreds, thousands, of Democrat party headquarters across this country, we might just wake up enough of them to make defending ourselves at the muzzle of a rifle unnecessary.”

John Avlon of The Daily Beast, who interviewed Vanderboegh for his book Wingnuts, underscores some of his other comments:

“You should understand that we are rapidly coming to a point in this country when half of the people are going to become convinced of the illegitimacy of this administration and its designs upon our liberty. Need I remind you that this side is the one with most of the firearms?”

Vanderboegh is heard during an online radio interview promoting an armed march on DC on April 19.
