Why Would We Forgive Tiger Woods But Not John Edwards?

A CBS/Vanity Fair poll indicates much more sympathy for Tiger Woods than for John Edwards.  Twenty-two percent are willing to forgive Tiger for his behavior, but only 5% offer John Edwards the same consideration.

Edwards meanwhile can take some itty bitty tiny comfort in the fact that he is more forgivable than both Roman Polanski and Chris Brown. Yes, very small comfort. Eternal bad boy Charlie Sheen falls somewhere in the middle at 12%.

Interestingly, 32% believe they all should be forgiven.
