Bachmann: “Don’t ‘Palinize’ Me”

Getting hip with the urban dictionary, Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, in a fundraising letter, begs, “Don’t let them Palinize me.”

“With Gov. Palin taking a well-deserved step out of the spotlight, it appears that I may be absorbing even more of the liberals’ scorn,” Bachmann said.

But the Minnesota Republican also seems worried, as she warns that Democrats are raising “$30,000 a week” to defeat her.

Bachmann even drops in the urban dictionary definition of Palinize:

Palinize:

To smear or mock someone using falsehoods, baseless accusations or unsubstantiated character assassinations for the purpose of blocking them from achieving a goal.

To exaggerate the truth or lie by omission.

To attack a person for his or her conservative values by focusing an inordinate amount of attention on a single example of that person falling short (or being perceived as falling short) of the values they espouse.

How about not Obamaizing liberals:

To smear or mock someone using falsehoods, baseless accusations or unsubstantiated character assassinations for the purpose of blocking them from achieving a goal.

To exaggerate the truth or lie by omission.

To attack a person for his or her liberal values by focusing an inordinate amount of attention on a single example of that person falling short (or being perceived as falling short) of the values they espouse.

To question the person’s country of origin because you don’t believe he or she belongs in his or her current position.

To misrepresent his or her goals (ie health care) for the purpose of one’s own political agenda.

To toss around words like “marxist” “socialist” or “fascist” as if they’re all the same thing and all represent where he or she wishes to take the country.
