Wanda Sykes Offends Delicate DC Ears

We go through this almost every year.  The bring in Don Imus and get all upset when he does material that some people find offensive.  They hire Stephen Colbert and are shocked when he does his act skewering the high and mighty.  Now they’re up in arms about Wanda Sykes, particularly her jokes about Rush Limbaugh being the 20th hijacker.

The White House is not pleased.

Conservatives whine that she didn’t knock the president as much as Colbert did when he was up and Bush was in power, so they’re not pleased either.  But let’s not forget that conservatives didn’t seem to have a problem when Bush43 did jokes about WMDs at a previous dinner; you know, the rationale we had to go to war against a country that wasn’t a threat?
