Michele Bachmann Notes (Falsely) That Swine Flu Only Breaks Out When Democrats Are In Office

Speaking with PajamasTV, Minnesota Congressnut Michele Bachmann has done it again, making the false statement that the last time the Swine Flu broke out, it was under a “Democrat” president.

“I find it interesting that it was back in the 1970s that the swine flu broke out then under another Democrat president Jimmy Carter. And I’m not blaming this on President Obama, I just think it’s an interesting coincidence.”

The disease actually broke out during the Ford presidency. Of course, if Bachmann knew that she would have kept her mouth shut.
