IA Congressman Steve King: Electing Obama Could Lead To “A Totalitarian Dictatorship”

It’s no longer enough to call Obama a Marxist or a Socialist.  Having crossed paths with Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright was child’s play.  Now, according to Steve King, we have to worry about what will happen when someone on the left becomes president.

“When you take a lurch to the left you end up in a totalitarian dictatorship,” King said. “There is no freedom to the left. It’s always to our side of the aisle.”

King said the nation can either embrace government to solve its problems, or it can choose freedom and liberty.

“We choose freedom and liberty,” he said.

Soon after, at another event, King went on about Obama’s choice of a church and how he’d feel comfortable “handing over” his baby to the Bush family.  Weird.

Previously, King has offered such pearls of wisdom such as how we need to know how our enemies would view Obama’s middle name, and how an Obama victory would have al Qaeda dancing in the streets.
