Colin Powell: “I’ll Be Voting For Barack Obama”

On Sunday Morning’s “Meet the Press” former Secretary of State Colin Powell explains why he is supporting Barack Obama for president.  Among his reasons:

• Concern about Sarah Palin
• McCain not ready to deal with economic crisis
• GOP moved too far to the right
• Obama gives a broader, more inclusive view than Republicans do
• Disappointment with focus on Bill Ayers, making the McCain campaign look narrow
• Concern with likely conservative appointments to the Supreme Court
• Muslim-bashing on the right, as members of the Islamic faith die for us in Iraq
• Obama has style and substance and is a transformational figure
