Obama To McCain: “Say It To My Face”

We’ve seen how ugly this campaign has become.  From McCain using his wife Cindy to attack Obama, having Palin “take the gloves off,” accusing Obama of dissing our troops, and to rallies with shouts of “terrorist” and “kill him!”  Now they’re reintroducing what didn’t work in the past, trying to tie Obama to Ayres so they can brand him a “radical”.

McCain had a chance to address this during the town hall-type debate this week, but chose not to, which surprised Obama.

“I am surprised that, you know, we’ve been seeing some pretty over-the-top attacks coming out of the McCain campaign over the last several days, that he wasn’t willing to say it to my face. But I guess we’ve got one last debate. So presumably, if he ends up feeling that he needs to, he will raise it during the debate.”

Or he’ll just let the women around him keep doing the dirty work.
