Alan, the biblical reference about how god said to treat immigrants is found in Leviticus 19:

33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

New listener from Dublin Ireland. I must say that Mr. Colmes provides some excellent radio. Some of the callers are just so “quirky”.

Is this a discussion about immigration to USA? Last poster on this subject that I can see below is named “Walter Schoff” and listed as having posted 6 months ago. Am I understanding correctly?

Of course, I listen from a remote small Rocky Mountain town, and only from my vehicle, so I may be rather behind in my comprehension of this process.

Anyone who attempts to use any religion to rationalize real world behavior will fail because religion is not rational.

hey, people, new from québec canada here. i want to apologize for the nutty canadian callers i have heard these last couple of shows.
templeton, i don’t care about religion being rational or not. the fact is that it has no place in politics. I do believe that there are enough examples around to prove that.
juan largo, the convo seems to be all over the place right now. i think it is a new chat room, and it has been acting a bit. i asked for a password 2 days ago, i got it today. i guess things will sort themselves out during next show?

So I was wondering if a President needs to pass a security investigation to have authorization to view, store or disseminate classified information. If so, wouldn’t Hillary Clinton be disqualified from being president because she will probably, if not already, get her security clearance revoked.

Security clearances and status are under frequent review. If any of Trump’s claims had any validity, they’d have been acted on a long time ago.

What’s really maddening about Trump’s rally speeches is the constant repetition…it’s like listening to a cheap-assed sideshow carny working at gulling the rubes. Just sickening.

theo, Stop listening to him. He is a cheap-assed sideshow. Your description is perfect!

Hi, Judith—I’m sorta trapped by long-ingrained training in journalism. But thanks for your thoughts…Cheers!

I’d be interested to know what sort of meds Alan uses to keep his more outre callers from pushing him over the edge. I don’t envy him his job, however much he’s paid to do it…

Hello, There is a tape on youtube of Trump laughing. ” Donald Trump laughing at Slick Willie” on youtube.
    Thank you

I’m listening to Alan trying to talk to a nut-case, who’s misinterpreting President Obama’s Christmas farewell after his press conference (“Mele Kalikimaka”) as an Arabic blessing. And afterwards, I’m going to go count my Canadian currency again…it may soon serve as my emigrant’s grubstake.
