Ohio Teacher Fired For Burning Crosses Into Students’ Arms

Mount Vernon, Ohio teacher John Freshwater failed to remove a Bible and other religious symbols from his classroom, and continued to teach creationism, over the objections of his superiors.  He branded crosses on the arms of students while claiming all he was doing was demonstrating a device known as a high frequency generator by writing an “X”, not a cross. 

I guess is an “X”, at a certain angle. And if you shorten one of the lines.  And if you ignore all the other evidence that this teacher was pushing his religious beliefs on his students.
