Congressman Patrick McHenry Calls Soldier “Two-Bit Security Guard.”

McHenry didn’t have proper credentials, so he was denied entrance to a gym for U.S. personnel in Iraq. And when the North Carolina Republican demanded to see the soldier’s superiors, he was still denied entry because of dangers in the Green Zone.

Here he relays the story, along with a gratuitous slap at Hillary Clinton, at a Republican dinner. But don’t get me wrong, I’m know how much he must love the troops.

UPDATE: McHenry has apologized for using the term “two bit security guard”, and says he was referring to a contractor, not to a soldier.
