Bush To Homeland Security: Laws Are Meant To Be Broken

In order to build a fence to keep illegal immigrants out of the country, because they’re “illegal” and “break the law,” the Bush administration will allow the Department of Homeland Security the break more than 30 laws and regulations.

But instead of using the word “break,” this story says the administration will “bypass” more than 30 laws and regulations, which makes it sound more like a medical procedure than actual law-breaking. Apparently, “rule of law” applied only to the former president when he lied about sex.
