Stupidity

Five years ago viewers of “NYPD Blue” saw the well-rounded curves of Charlotte Ross’s posterior.  Now the government, five years later, is fining stations that aired the episode $1.4 million.  The stations being fined are mostly small stations in non-Eastern time-zones who showed all this offending skin before 10PM.

Whoever wrote the ruling is a frustrated writer of bad porn:

Her character, Detective Connie McDowell, “removes her robe, thereby revealing the side of one of her breasts and a full view of her back,” the ruling said.”The camera shot includes a full view of her buttocks and her upper legs as she leans across the sink to hang up her robe.”            So, how many children have had to be rushed into emergency therapy because they saw a body part of a beautiful woman, necessitating heavy fines for small television station operators? And, with another Jackson set to be seen in a commercial during the upcoming Super Bowl, one can only hope that parents guard the televisions, lest there be another malfunction that sends the country into paroxysms of turpitude. I include this photo, just so you know what we’re talking about, and also because she’s doing it for a good cause, PETA.
