Pat Robertson Doesn’t Like What God Told Him

Or, to put it more accurately, the good reverend told me that, once he heard who the next president will be, he’s not sure that message came from God at all. That must mean that when Republicans are elected it’s from the almighty, but when a Democrat is crowned, it’s the work of Satan. As discussed here a few days ago, Robertson makes yearly predictions after he convenes with the Lord, but hasn’t always been spot on.

Friday night he expanded upon his presidential prediction:

On Hannity & Colmes, a giddier-than-usual Robertson now thought maybe God had not spoken to him about the election outcome after all. “I felt so,” Robertson said with a hearty chuckle to Alan Colmes. “But I’m a little shaky on it and I didn’t want to say anything about it publicly. I’m not sure I heard from the Lord and if I did, I hope I heard wrong.”

Hannity asked if the initials given were “HC.”

“My lips are sealed,” Robertson said.
