Sheriff Clarke: ‘I’ll only be reaching across the aisle to grab a Democrat by the throat’
Click here for reuse options!Last night, at the alt-right promoted ‘DeploraBall’ inauguration gala in Washington, D.C., outspoken Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke addressed the crowd and let it be known that he has no desire to work with Democrats during a Trump Administration.
Clarke, who is currently a registered Democrat and has run for office a number of times as a Democrat, told attendees that he’d rather be violent with those in the Democratic Party than find compromise or working solutions.
“I am one of those bare-knuckle fighters,” the sheriff stated. “When I hear people say we need to reach across the aisle and work with the Democrats, you know what I say? The only reason I’ll be reaching across the aisle is to grab one of them by the throat.”

That means nothing, we have a lot of politicians who claim to love God and yet they govern to help the rich. It is called hypocrisy, you say one thing to get elected then you do the opposite.

His defenders say he has to run as a Democrat to win in Milwaukee County. I’m not sure how accurate that is though, considering Scott Walker was the elected County Executive before becoming governor.
He kept his mouth shut ‘most of the time’ for a number of years. There were only a few incidents that hinted at his psychosis but he was able to escape much scrutiny. His antics lately, along with the string of preventable deaths in his jail is bringing a lot of voter attention his way now though. And, as BillO says “The ‘folks’ are not happy.”

I think it’s time for a language update. If someone is wrong all the time, we shouldn’t refer to him as “outspoken.” It masks the truth. It’s like calling the white supremacists the “alt-right.” Eventually people will forget what they actually stand for.

I think Clarke has mental health issues. This gem of a statement follows his trying to get a guy arrested who looked at him funny on a plane. This stuff seems to be accelerating.
Voters in Milwaukee county may need to think about a recall. I cannot understand how he got elected in the first place.

But I read the story from the TV station about the guy on the plane who was questioned by deputies after a brief encounter with the sheriff. Most of the comments were from Clarke supporters, and they sound exactly like trump supporters. They don’t care how much damage he does, or how much like Arpaio he is, they almost consider him their Messiah for some reason. He seems to be one of the most unpleasant men on earth. A lot like trump. I’m surprised he doesn’t have a cabinet position.

His body will bleed out just as fast as anyone else shot down in the street…
From the sound of his actions, he is just askin for some hot head to get the drop on him.
A ‘pre-emtive’ “grab to the throat” is reason enough to “stand your ground” (in many states) and pull a weapon and fire a few shots into Sheriff Clarke’s lower torso, (in case he is wearing body armor)…
That will put a stop to his over aggressive behavior.
