Gallup: Democratic Party viewed more favorably than Republicans
In spite of the Republican White House win, Democrats are viewed more favorably.

In a Gallup survey conducted Nov. 9-13, 45% of Americans view the Democratic Party favorably, compared with 40% for the Republican Party.
Americans have viewed the Democratic Party more favorably than the Republican Party for most of the past four years of the Barack Obama administration, except at one point immediately after the 2014 midterm elections.
This year’s election did not drastically change how Americans view the country’s two major political parties, which is normal after presidential elections, with a few exceptions.

If the democrats had just put up a more popular candidate with less baggage they would have the presidency now. The DNC is not popular and is not seen favorably.

Once again, Democrats won the popular vote by over a million and a half votes.
Unfortunately; hate, bigotry and leftwing purists defeated progressive policy, gave away the Supreme Court and damaged our nation for generations.
I expected ignorance and racism from republicans but have a hard time forgiving Bernibots with their knickers in a twist because they didn’t get their pony.

1/3 of the counties that Obama won in 2008 & 2012 voted for Trump. So basically you’re saying 1/3 of the people who voted for obama TWICE are racist bigots.

Huh… you think there might be any discrepancy betwixt people who voted for Obama and those who didn’t this election? Think there might be some deviation between Obama and Hillary? Think there might be differences between the voting rolls between 2004 + 2016 (especially after Republican efforts to exclude whole swaths of the population for this election?) Did Obama get 66% of the vote in those counties you mention?
Your back of the envelope math needed a MUCH larger envelope.

You don’t have to worry about the facts Just do as trump tells you and wait for the jobs. All I’m seeing hired in DC are people who don’t know the first thing about domestic jobs

The voters [the only citizens who determine who can govern] showed across the country in state and Congressional elections that the GOP is favored. Against that, polls are useless.
BTW, I have just learned I have been put on a no-comment-allowed list by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

This must be the reason the Democrats did so well this election! Btw, If the democrats lose one more state legislature, They will drop below the minimum threshold of 13 states needed to stop a constituional amendment.

Just love those polls, they are always so accurate, especially gallup. If the democrats want to be favorable, they have to defeat Trump and his party of traitors.The democratic party is fractured and in pieces right now desperately needing leadership and direction. Trying to ‘work with Trump’ is the same as doing nothing. Doing nothing isn’t going to cut it to regain momentum to defeat those fascist wing nuts in two years.
