Man arrested for threatening to kill Democratic members of Congress

He was arrested in Tennessee after authorities became aware of his plane to kill two members of the Hawaii delegation.

FBI agents and Capitol Police officers arrested 36-year-old Keahiokahouna Stewart at his home in Murfreesboro on Friday morning.Justice officials allege that Stewart said in an Instagram post that he would fly from Nashville to Honolulu on Nov. 1 to shoot up the Princess Jonah Federal Building. He allegedly specifically threatened to kill Hawaii Democrats Sen. Mazie Hirono and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.

Stewart, a veteran, apparently believed that his Social Security number had been duplicated and issued to another soldier who was stationed at the same base as him South Korea in 2002. He demanded to be compensated with full disability and $50 billion.

U.S. Attorney David Rivera announced that Stewart was being charged with threatening to murder a U.S. official and transmitting a communication containing a threat.

    Does he get to keep his guns? (I’m assuming there were guns – death by cheese-grater is way too time consuming.)
