RIO DE JANEIRO — The Olympic scandal created by American swimmer Ryan Lochte and three teammates moved toward a resolution Friday, with Lochte issuing a qualified apology for lying about an alleged robbery and swimmer James Feigen reaching a deal that would allow him to leave Brazil. “I want to apologize for my behavior last weekend…

Americans going abroad acting like an ass and lying, nah.

Yep, Americans go to other places and think they own the place and start crying for help when they get in trouble!

yep. but notice his sorry ass got out of the country before the could arrest him. the sorry sack of guano.

Sure did, that kinda made me think that his story was off but I know how dangerous Brazil can be, so I wasn’t sure!

America is just as dangerous and more so for minorities than it is for white Americans in Brazil.

But it doesn’t matter as much when we’re beaten, robbed, or killed, as much as when it happens to a white person …
Brazil has decimated the Native populations and those that have survived have been forced further and deeper into the jungle, where they are once again preyed on by those seeking to take what is theirs…

that’s not what i meant and you know it. it’s irritating enough when it happens here to be lied on and punished for it, especially killed behind a lie, but to go abroad and lie is just as irritating. what the hell is wrong with people. so don’t even suggest that that’s what i’m saying. when anything like that happens, it DOES matter! it’s wrong to lie about it. (i was raped by a black man, a black man took my children, you know exactly what i’m talking about)

                • Mike August 20th, 2016 at 19:13

I think you misunderstood what I was saying …
If white lives didn’t seem to matter more we wouldn’t have #Blacklivesmatter…Have you ever seen a black child capture the airwaves like JonBenet…or a Black, Hispanic, or Native, man get a suspended sentence for rape because the judge was more concerned about his future than the suffering of his female victim (that happened twice this year)
This kid is a POS white privileged a$$wipe who not only committed a crime in a host country but lied about it. His apology said nothing about the damage he did to someone’s business or his attempt to disparage the police and military by naming them as the culprits…

Now just imagine if he wasn’t some white bread preppy and instead he was black from Detroit…they’d be screaming in the streets to send him back to Brazil…That’s what I’m talking about.

I was listening to the Jim Rome (sports show just in case) show and people were calling in and giving support for Lochte!

Lochte apologizes, an insincere PR ploy

  4. Tommie August 19th, 2016 at 22:52

I think his “apology” is the same kind of apology Trump gave!

Used to admire the man, not any more.

Hey, you f*cked up…we all have. Own up to it.

  6. Gina Bousquet August 20th, 2016 at 17:04

The gas station was a minor problem, fabricating the robbery was the big sh!t

Way to make America proud, there, Lochte.

At least we have Jack Sock to show how we aren’t all douches…

Look at his bleached blond hair.
    #1 sign of deceit.
And I don’t meant to say that all bleached blonds are devious.
I’m sure there are good people.

He’s a classic example of the “entitled white frat boy” syndrome. What an asshole.
