WaPo determines Trump would pose ‘radical risk’ after meeting him

I don’t think you have to meet him to know this.

After spending more than a hour Monday talking policy with Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump, the Washington Post editorial board concluded that his election would be “dangerous” for the United States.
“His answers left little doubt how radical a risk the nation would be taking in entrusting the White House to him,” the board wrote in an editorial published Monday night.

The wide-ranging conversation touched on Trump’s expressed skepticism towards human-caused global warming, his plan to eradicate poverty by improving the “spirit” of inner-city residents, and his stated intention to make it easier to sue the press for libel.

According to the board, Trump’s “breezy willingness to ignore facts and evidence” and lack of concrete policies posed the greatest to the country.

And we knew this without having to talk to him (what a scary thought), but by listening to him.

One of the most recent comments to the editorial says this: “After having read this article I have made up my mind. My vote goes to Trump. Definitely.”
You just can’t help some people.

Sometimes I wonder if rump supporters are just screwing with us, it is hard to take them seriously.

      • Larry Schmitt March 22nd, 2016 at 19:30

It really is astounding that even with all the evidence he provides, these goobers continue to support him. He said it himself, he could shoot someone, and still be in the lead. He has done just about everything but shoot someone, and they haven’t budged.

There is more of us than there are of them, we just need to make sure we all vote and he doesn’t stand a chance.

Yes, they continue to support their less than stellar presidential candidates and then have the nerve to wonder why they keep losing the White House. Remember those “skewed polls” on Romney that they just had to reconfigure to show he would win the 2012 election in a landslide? This is what I’m talking about.

    Just a thought.

Nobody but humans could think this is reality

If so, we’re the Jersey Shore of the Intergalactic Prime time Line up

Nothing is here. With what is it WaPo disagrees? Give me something to research and argue. Much ado about nothing, Alan. Like usual from a Liberal leftist intellectual lightweight..

It reads like a therapy session with a very confused patient…

It’s nice of you to help the mentally handicapped. :)

Now, Gina, you and I both know those like George Hale are more than willing to ignore reality to support a politician because they like them and the things they say. It has yet to occur to them that most Americans reject ignorant bullies for president. If GH were to read that Trump says his major foreign policy adviser is himself because “he knows stuff,” it wouldn’t change a thing. This kind of mindset is the reason it took some GOP/TPers more than six years to realize that Sarah Palin was a huge nothingburger.

Apparently he has too much spare time also. I don’t understand why someone just shows up at a site they normally don’t go to just to make one comment and a total a$$ of themselves. :)

Well, I’m reading the WAPO board meeting with Trump since I wrote that (among other things I’m doing to prepare for the night). I just wanted him to have the chance to know about it, but I agree, it probably wouldn’t mean a thing to him. :)
