9:00amEDT: Rand Paul has released a statement to the press confirming that he is suspending his campaign.

8:50amEDT: CNN is reporting that Republican senator Rand Paul is suspending his presidential campaign. MSNBC is reporting that Paul is “considering getting out.” No links yet, but you’ll want to see what Paul told RealClearPolitics.com about polling.

                    It was out in the 50’s and 60’s as I recall. It came in a clear bottle and the liquid was/is white. You put a little in the palm and rubbed your palms together and rubbed your hair then combed. I used to love the smell. It was sold in drug store and Woolworth’s as I recall.

                      Was it a setting gel like the dippity doo? I have no memory of it, but I do remember Woolworth stores! Those were the days. I was a wee one in the 60’s but I remember some things.

                      More like an oil. I was in high school in the late 60’s . I used to love the old Woolworth’s in San Francisco on Market St and Powell. They had those old wooden floors that were beautiful.

                      We have an old style five and dime type store about thirty minutes from where I live called Vidler’s. They still have those floors! It’s so loud when everyone is walking around. It’s a cool place. Two floors and the atmosphere is the same feeling as being in Woolworth’s. I haven’t been there in a long time, but our son was there at Christmastime.
                      They were in a competition to have a free advertisement during the Super Bowl. I just heard Tuesday that they did not win, but they did receive a very large cash prize.
