Seymour Hersh Claims Fiction Associated With Bin Laden Raid

New Yorker contributor Seymour Hersh says we weren’t told the truth about the raid to get bin Laden.

Hersh defended his major revisionist account of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden on CNN’sNew Day Monday morning, arguing against a skeptical Chris Cuomo.

“I’ve been around a long time, long of tooth in the business, and I understand the consequences of what I’m saying,” Hersh said.

The article — published in the London Review of Books, not in the New Yorker, where Hersh is a regular contributor — alleges that the U.S. killed bin Laden with the cooperation (and payment) of Pakistani officials, and that bin Laden was being held captive by Pakistanis in Abbottabad, not hiding out. This would make the Obama administration’s account of the daring SEAL Team Six raid a fiction on the level, according to Hersh, of Alice in Wonderland.

“You have to think about this,” Hersh said. “A team of SEALS…go into the middle of Pakistan, take out a guy with no air cover, no protection, no security, no trouble. Are you kidding me?”

This story has Dick Cheney stench all over it. Could that be Hersh’s “source”?

Governments, Heads of State, Presidents, Prime Ministers, Chancellors, El Jefe of whatever Republic, lie, they all lie.

In the U.S. we have been lied into more than 1 war. Vietnam, Iraq are 2 that come to mind.

In school, we were told that the Native Americans were treated well by the English Settlers, the truth is the complete opposite.

And it goes on from there.

Expecting any politician to tell the truth, about where they get their money, who funds them,
the reasons why they voted for this or that, or they advocate one position of another, is folly.

Money plays a critical role and fear of being out of power is another.

Organizations that have the political clout and $$$ to crack the whip and demand that a politician dance to their tune or else that organization will finance an opposing candidate.

So our politicians are basically bought and paid for by organizations that have the money to do so. So when our politicians open their mouths, you have to look at what they are saying and who is paying them to say it.
