“Barry Steenkamp, the father of the deceased model, reportedly told journalists outside the courtroom that he was “very satisfied” with the sentencing”.
The court system clearly favorers the rich and famous, but if the family is satisfied with the sentence then we should be. I feel Part of the punishment proses the defendant must show and be truly remorseful in the crime that they committed. I wasn’t there but Mr. Steenkamp was, and maybe that is what he saw. Part of the allure of the rich and famous is the false feeling that they are untouchable. Well he was touched and will never be the same person he once was.
