Actually I don’t like the phrase “illegal immigrant”. A person can’t be illegal simply for being. I know this will attract even more right-wing wrath, but it is wrong to dehumanize someone, anyone. And these aren’t murderers and thieves; they are, for the most part, human beings who are coming here for better lives. And often they send money home to Mexico which helps their families. That’s called “family values”.
