Arizona Jan Brewer froze during her opening statement, and then things only got worse. First, it was just bizarre that the governor stumbled so much while talking about what she accomplished and why she wants to be reelected.

But that was nothing compared to what happened later on.  Her Democratic opponent, state Attorney General Terry Goddard,  confronted her on her exaggerated stories about crime and beheadings in the Arizona desert, saying she was scaring people away from Arizona. Brewer skirted the issue by attacking Goddard for supporting unions.  After the debate, she was hammered by reporters to explain why she false claimed there were beheadings, and Brewer froze again, before turning around and leaving.
