Levi Johnston Planning To Run For Mayor Of Wasilla

Like almost-mother-in-law, like almost-son-in-law. Levi Johnston is preparing to run for mayor of Wasilla, Alaska. It seems like a stunt, though since it is being taped for “Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office,” a reality show about the almost son-in-law.

Johnston will use his notoriety to run for the Wasilla City Hall, while simultaneously trying to pursue a career in Hollywood.

Johnston admitted he was skeptical about launching his mayoral campaign.

“But the more I think about it and look into it, I think there’s a possibility we can make it happen,” Johnston said of the mayoral campaign, which will not take place until 2012. “It’s something that I want to do.”

Johnston says, “It’s hard to figure me out,” because he’s “half redneck, half Hollywood.”  I think figuring that out is doable…if you have a few spare minutes and are really really bored.
