Tennessee Lawmaker Wants Roundup Of Syrian Refugees

Tennessee State Rep. Glen Casada wants the National Guard to round up refugees and send them to U.S. immigration authorities.

“We need to activate the Tennessee National Guard and stop them from coming in to the state by whatever means we can,” he told the paper.

“I’m not worried about what a bureaucrat in D.C. or an unelected judge thinks,” Casada said. “We need to gather [Syrian refugees] up and politely take them back to the ICE center and say, ‘They’re not coming to Tennessee, they’re yours.’”

Casada’s call is more extreme than other conservative state legislators, who have vowed to bar refugees from settling in their states.

“Tennessee is a sovereign state. If the federal government is forsaking the obligation to protect our citizens, we need to act,” Casada told the paper.

    We will do that right after we round up all the far right groups that threaten our President and put them through the same vetting process we are currently applying to the Syrian refugees.

    What does that even look like? National Guard rounding up Syrian refugees do they go door to door in uniform with m-16s removing terrorized women and children from their homes and placing them in cages I know they will invade and desecrate the mosques in uniform with weapons dragging Syrian families out and placing them In cages how do you think that would look like on the news wires around the world do you think we will be targeted for terrorism after that I have seen some stupid ideas in my time but this has to be the stupidest.
