ReaganBook To Relaunch As Freedombook And We Are Very Excited

ReaganBook, the Conservative alternative to Facebook, was created because the site’s management considered the latter to be “too liberal,” and it was quickly taken down after Janet Porter, the owner said, “We’ve been invaded!”

The site was trolled so hard, they had to take it offline, but the sneaky sneaksters behind the site have changed the name to Freedombook.com, which will surely stop any trolling (wink wink).

Janet Porter launched her “Facebook for Patriots” but apparently Reagan’s name was not Freedom-y enough.

Reaganbook now redirects to Freedombook showing a notice which reads, “Coming soon!”and we are all very excited.

Porter believed that Facebook restricts Conservative voices, which is a conspiratorial theory, not at all based on fact. Most liberals, myself included, have had innocuous posts removed by the behemoth social site.

Others have tried to emulate Facebook using a Conservative bent and those, too, have failed.

Reaganbook ended after less than 24 hours after its launch, leaving the message, “Thank you to all those who participated in the pre-release of ReaganBook.com.”

The announcement continued, “Your participation is helping us build a more secure site. Thank you! Please be patient while we make the necessary changes to keep the site free from obscenity, pornography, and those intent on the destruction of life, liberty, and the family. We will be opening the doors again soon with additional protections in place. As Reagan taught us, trust, but verify.”

But when the site launched, Porter wrote, “We’re tearing down walls of tyranny, or censorship.”

@Mea_Mark found the info page on Freedombook. Last time it appears that Porter used a cheap server which is why it couldn’t stay up for more than a minute, and it took ages for a page to load. I’m not saying that I was there (I was there) trolling the site that night.

Porter could just use this new invention called “moderators” in order to keep the trolls at bay. She can’t have ours though.

It’s amazing just how creepy the right can get when they drag Zombie Reagan out and parade him in front of the Rubes.

It astounds me the republicans hold the dimwitted Ronald Reagan in high esteem. They couldn’t find a smarter, more worthy republican to idolize? Lincoln? Teddy Roosevelt? Eisenhower?
But no. They chose the most feeble-minded, the most disastrous president, ever, in the history of the United states, and put him on a pedestal. I will never understand the republican/conservative brain.

But Reagan was magic – who else could turn ginger (a redhead) after age 70 when everyone else on the planet is bald or gray at that age? or assure that a fetus could live outside its placenta and sans umbilical cord after only 5 weeks? Or assure a planet would be ringed with nuclear missiles from space?

I’m inclined to believe that Reagan’s only presidential quality was his hair. Republicans love them some hair!

I firmly believe the vast majority of those of you trolling (bullying) / arguing for trolling (bullying) are better people than you realize, and can in fact easily allow yourselves to grow past the point where you find it entertaining.

Bless his heart he thinks trolling isn’t humorous

Dehumanizing those you disagree with to the point of feeling justified in bullying them is the same kind of thinking that leads to all kinds of horrible things we humans justify doing to each other. Trolling (bullying) is certainly very minor compared to many of those things, but one best left to those without a liberal mindset, IMO.

I was able to register and create a Sarah Palin fanclub on freedombok, but haven’t been able to log back in. Rats. I was going to start a discussion about her glasses and blog about the smartest things she ever said. It was going to be an extremely short blog.
