US Wants To Colonize Iraq

Iraqi authorities want us out. That makes us occupiers, not liberators.  And the Bush regime is demanding that, if we are to leave, they must agree to 58 bases, the right of the US to arrest and detain Iraqis, immunity for US soldiers and contractors, the right to conduct operations without approval from the Iraq government, and control over Iraq airspace.

“We rejected the whole thing from the beginning,” said Jalal al-Din al-Saghir, a senior lawmaker from the Supreme Council. “In my point of view, it would just be a new occupation with an Iraqi signature.”
