Jon And Kate: Unreal

Jon Gosselin says his kids aren’t being negatively affected by the reality TV series affecting his family.  The Pennsylvania Labor Department is looking into whether the show is violating child labor laws.  Is he exploiting his kids?

“I don’t even want to use that word, because I think it’s ridiculous,” he told People magazine. “We have healthy, happy, well-adjusted, educated kids. They’re bouncing around and having a good time.”

Jon and Kate both deny allegations of cheating, but admit their marriage has suffered with al the media attention. If you’re not Ozzy Osbourne, is it really healthy to have your family the subect of an ongoing televison show? Is it healthy, even if you are Ozzy Osbourne?

But In Touch magazine says Jon and Kate have been secretly separated for six months, are are only together for the television cameras.

In Touch reported that Jon and Kate were separated this winter, with Jon living at his mother’s Pennsylvania home while Kate remained at their house with the kids. At the time, a rep for the show said that Jon was helping his mother while she recovered from a foot injury – but Cruz says the separation was real. And though Jon moved back into the family house, Cruz says that it was purely for the sake of ratings. “Jon’s had it – it’s all fake. And Kate is putting on a show,” Cruz says.

The problem with reality TV: It’s not real.
