Bush Dog Does To Neighbor’s Lawn What Cheney Does To The Constitution

I’m beginning to worry that I might actually like George W. Bush if I got to know him.  The more Cheney speaks, the sorrier I feel for the former president, who had the grace to say that President Obama deserves his silence.  Even when speaking publicly, something Bush is doing rarely, he’s not using it as an opportunity to bash the new administration.  Speaking at Artesia High School in New Mexico, Bush gave no interviews and forbade video cameras inside.

It was a humbling moment for the former commander in chief: President George W. Bush was walking former first dog Barney in his new Dallas neighborhood when it stopped in a neighbor’s yard for relief.

“And there I was, former president of the United States of America, with a plastic bag on my hand,” he told a group of graduating high school students in New Mexico on Thursday. “Life is returning back to normal.”

All Bush would say about the new government is that he hopes the Obama administration is successful.  Bush ought to hope Cheney keeps talking. It makes him look so much better.
