Statement on the Passing of Alan Colmes

Alan Colmes passed away early Thursday, February 23, after a brief illness.

He was 66 years old.

He leaves his adoring and devoted wife, Jocelyn Elise Crowley.

He was a great guy, brilliant, hysterical, and moral. He was fiercely loyal, and the only thing he loved more than his work was his life with Jocelyn.

He will be missed.

The family has asked for privacy during this very difficult time.

Very sad, but why only state a “brief illness”? Why so mysterious…..?

I disagreed with Alan most of the time but I always respected him for his ability to provide evidence to back his points. He was always willing to engage and that will be missed.

Rest in piece. You were a good man and contributed to society. You will be missed.

We’re really shocked! What a loss. Fox lost one of their best. Liberals lost a true man of facts at that network. There’s nobody left over there now.

      There’s still Bob Beckel.

OMG I LOVED Alan. He was the only reason I watched Hannity and Colmes when it was on the airwaves. My love and sympathy to Alan’s family.

I’m a pretty rock-ribbed conservative and just wanted to say I’m very sorry to hear this. God bless all.

Oh man, what a sad day and a great loss to America. Alan was the BEST! An amazing intellect who could entertain and inform, having a good time while doing it.
There aren’t words to describe the loss, the Lion of the Left has been silenced.
Keep his memory alive by adopting his skills at debate and his tolerance of those who disagree in our daily debate.
If only the good die young, Alan was VERY good.
    (and Cheney lives on)

    My condolences.
Seldom, except on individual rights, did we agree, but he was a tenacious and worthy adversary.
    Will miss him,
    .
Will add another line ta tha prayer list.
It’s getting pretty long these days.
