Trump wants to endanger air travelers with privatization

You just have to wonder about whether Donald Trump fully understands the dangers of privatizing the hugely successful air traffic control system after yesterday’s comments:

U.S. President Donald Trump called the U.S. air traffic control system out of date on Thursday and criticized its $10 billion yearly price tag but stopped short of calling for privatization of the program.

“I hear we’re spending billions and billions of dollars, it’s a system that’s totally out of whack,” Trump said during a picture-taking session at the White House ahead of his sitdown with airline and airport executives.

His comments heartened advocates of privatization who have long sought to move away from the system they see as outdated.

“We want to get the government out of the role of managing the air traffic control system,” Gary Kelly, Southwest Airlines Co’s chief executive officer, told Trump during the picture-taking session.

“I hear we’re spending billions and billions of dollars”-Donnie doesn’t know U.S. record $19 T GDP means $1 out of every $4 spent on Earth, is spent within Americas borders annually. Our U.S. government budget spends nearly $4 T each year. A teeny-tiny $10 B keeps planes flying and not crashing into Trump Tower, fool.

He spouts off on topics he knows nothing about, and continues to prove his ignorance. He’s a better laugh maker than Bob Hope ever dreamed of being.

Private investors want to fund a moon mission. I can’t think of a better pilot then Donald Trump.
