Trump order forced Cleveland Clinic doctor to leave country
How many patients’ lives were put at risk by Trump’s bizarre, draconian order?
Hours after landing in New York on Saturday, a doctor at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic was forced to leave the country based on an executive order issued by President Donald Trump that bans visitors from seven predominantly Muslim countries for 90 days.
Her flight to Saudi Arabia took off minutes before a federal judge in New York put a temporary stay on turning back people in such situations.
Suha Abushamma, 26, is in the first year of an Internal Medicine residency program at the clinic and held an H-1B visa for workers in “specialty occupations.” Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, she holds a passport from Sudan, one of the seven countries from which Trump barred visitors.
On Saturday evening, Abushamma was forced to make a choice by Customs and Border Protection agents: She could leave the country voluntarily and withdraw her visa — or she could be forcibly deported, which would have prevented her from coming back to the United States for at least five years. The latter also would have resulted in a permanent black mark on her immigration record.
She asked for a delay but was refused, she said in a FaceTime interview with ProPublica while she was flying over the Atlantic on her way back to Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is not one of the countries on Trump’s list, but because Abushamma’s passport is from Sudan, she was told she is covered by the executive order.

“I’m only in this country to be a doctor, to work and to help people — that’s it,” she said. “There’s no other reason.”

Donnie-Bannon’45 hold the record for fastest imploding Executive Order. TRO, now stayed.
USA requires H-1B Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) visa holders to have a college degree. Unlike GOP’s poorly educated: Medical graduate student Suha Abushamma, 26, is in the first year of an Internal Medicine residency program at the Cleveland clinic and held an H-1B visa. U.S. residency programs range from 3 years after medical school for internal medicine, to 5 years for surgery, to 7 years for neurosurgery. Most new physicians complete the internship requirement as their first year of residency.

I’m still trying to get over Trump’s private meeting with the union bosses as if his TV schedule cuts into Talking to all union members at there union halls.
Something is rotten in Denmark with this clown and it’s not going to end well for alot of people out here

workers making less than $250,000/year are screwed big time.
TAX increase
cost of living increase
fuel cost increase (especially diesel)
road use tax increase
new 10% of gross income CDL license Tax
new 15% of gross income interstate transport Tax
the independent truckers of America will be no more, and the new ‘unionized’ truckers will be in one of the lowest paid employment gigs on the market.
hope trees can grow on lots of sunshine!

History proves that when you pull top level representatives into a room like this Your only going to see those people succeed while the rest fail. As I posted above, there is no reason why trip couldn’t visit union halls while he was visiting the red states that voted for him

This makes me so angry I could spit. And I used to think that Dubya was awful, the worst imaginable. Now Dubya looks like a thoughtful statesman-like figure compared to Trump. And it’s only been a little over a week. I don’t know how much longer I can stand this.

I have a feeling we’re here (if we survive) for four years. If we survive these four years and tRump is re-elected, that’s another four years of crap. The democrats in congress won’t do anything, so it’s up to the American people to fix this.
I would say everyone stop paying taxes until tRump is impeached, but that would only hurt the poor.

the good doctor should have kept her Saudi Arabian status, but probably could not have been a doctor who could treat ill men if she had.
Poetic justice would be for trump and associates to move in on Cleveland with trump becoming fatally ill and the good doctor now, hopefully safely back in Sudan being the ONLY medical person that could save his criminal fat orange ass.

I live five miles via the scenic route from the main campus of the Clinic empire. Some of our neighbors know this person, who they rate top notch. Can you imagine this happening under a Clinton presidency?
