Trump exec order green-lights risky oil pipelines

You expected otherwise from the guy who wants an oil-igarch in charge of the State Department?

President Donald Trump moved to advance construction of the Keystone XL and Dakota Access oil pipelines Tuesday, a pair of projects that were blocked by the Obama administration due in part to environmental concerns. Both orders are subject to renegotiations of the agreements.

Trump also signed a notice requiring the materials for the pipelines to be constructed in the United States, though it was unclear how he planned to enforce the measure.

“From now we are going to start making pipelines in the United States,” Trump said from the Oval Office on a busy day in Washington, with many hearings scheduled on Capitol Hill.

not surprising, he has stock in it. this is exactly the reason why he should be impeached. this order is about further lining his pockets, regardless of the harm it will do the the people. this is also why they have to give up their companies. we’re fucked.

Does the U.S. even have the manufacturing ability at this moment to make these pipelines ????? These are massive projects and special pipes. This stuff doesn’t just happen over night

a person who treats his wife like this in public, is the type of man that doesn’t give a damn about your feelings.

disturbing right? that same day, when they were driven to the WH, he (tRump) got out of the limo and didn’t wait for Malaria, who got out on the other side and then didn’t even let her walk though the doors first. Obama and Michelle ushered her in with respect, that she didn’t deserve. then, when they were being filmed leaving, tRump and President Obama were outside, and when Malaria and the ‘true first lady’ walked to meet them, tRump did NOT even acknowledge her. President Obama, turned to greet Michelle, our true first lady, reached for her hand and kissed it. that’s love and respect.

He must have said something horrific for her to change her expression like that.

Maybe this explains what she wants to stay in New York and get away from her abuser.

I was also very much happy that the Obama’s treated her with such kindness and respect. I guess she brought along a gift for the Obama’s and pumpkin head just swept it aside.

This guy is a real ASSHO:E.

    Hey Donnie,
I suspect you wouldn’t be so adamant about building these “environmental catastrophes waiting to happen” if one of them passed near one of your properties.

But rich people don’t have to worry about such trivialities. They can create and enforce their own NIMBY laws.

Great! He’s making America great again! If “great” means New Jersey.

I don’t want to seem melodramatic but if they try to ram the ND pipeline through, there will be bloodshed.

I saw the CEO for that project interviewed last month. Like some 19th century robber baron. I think he’d love to shoot a lot of the demonstrators, he’s that mad at them.
